October 14, 2021
- DME Electric has begun connecting Creighton customers to the new fiber optic network.

September 30, 2021
- DME Electric plans to begin Phase 2 installations to connect customers to the new fiber network beginning on October 12th.

September 16, 2021
- At the end of September, DME Electric will begin scheduling Phase 2 installations to connect customers to the new fiber network.

September 9, 2021
- The new fiber optic cables are spliced and tested.
- In the next few weeks, customers will receive a letter notifying them that DME Electric will be contacting them to schedule the appointment to connect them to fiber.
August 27, 2021
- The next construction update will be posted the week of September 6th. Have a safe and relaxing Labor Day holiday!
- Golden West technicians will be working on wiring in the Wall central office to connect each customer’s line to the fiber network.
- In the next few weeks, customers will receive a letter notifying them that DME Electric will be contacting them to schedule the appointment to connect them to fiber.
August 12, 2021
- Ripley’s has completed construction and cleanup.
- Technicians have finished splicing and testing fibers.
- Customers will be notified by letter when the wiring contractor, DME Electric, is ready to schedule Phase 2 installations.
August 5, 2021
- Ripley’s has completed construction and cleanup.
- Technicians are splicing and testing fibers. When this step is finished and all fibers are connected in the Golden West central office in Wall, the wiring contractor can begin connecting customers to the new fiber optic network.
- Customers will be notified by letter when the wiring contractor, DME Electric, is ready to schedule Phase 2 installations.
July 29, 2021
- Ripley’s is finished with burying fiber optic cable. Cleanup is complete.
- Technicians are splicing and testing fibers. When this step is finished and all fibers are connected in the Golden West central office in Wall, the wiring contractor can begin connecting customers to the new fiber optic network.
- Customers will be notified by letter when the wiring contractor, DME Electric, is ready to schedule Phase 2 installations. This stage of the project will begin in a few weeks.
July 22, 2021
- DME Electric has completed Phase 1 installations for customers in the Creighton area.
- Ripley’s is finished with burying fiber optic cable. They are completing cleanup and are hydroseeding road ditches.
- Customers will be notified by letter when the wiring contractor, DME is ready to schedule Phase 2 installations. This stage of the project will begin in a few weeks.
July 15, 2021
- DME Electric has completed Phase 1 installations for customers in the Creighton area.
- Ripley’s has been burying cable near the intersection Creighton and Wilsey Roads.
- Construction should be completed by the end of next week. During next stage of the project, technicians will splice the fibers together. After the new fibers are spliced and tested, Golden West will connect them in the central office.

- Ripley’s has been burying cable along Duhamel Flat Road.
- Construction activity will be paused from June 26 through July 12th to give workers the opportunity to spend the Independence Day holiday with their families.

- DME Electric has completed Phase 1 installations for customers in the Creighton area.
- Ripley’s will be burying fiber optic cable along Duhamel Flat Road.
- Construction activity will be paused from June 26 through July 5th to give workers the opportunity to spend the Independence Day holiday with their families.
- Ripley’s will resume work on July 5th. They will be working on Creighton Road, heading east to Wilsey Road.

- Ripley’s is working north of 213th Street on Babcock Road. They will move north, then move west to Cheney Road.

- DME Electric has finished Phase 1 wiring. After the fiber optic cables have been buried, spliced, and tested, they will return later in the summer to begin Phase 2 installations to connect customers to the new fiber.
- Ripley’s is burying cable west of Creighton Road, headed west from the school house.
June 3, 2021
- DME Electric has finished Phase 1 wiring. After the fiber optic cables have been buried, spliced, and tested, they will return later in the summer to begin Phase 2 installations to connect customers to the new fiber.
- Ripley’s is currently working on Pedro Road, heading north. They plan to work from the Golden West office in Creighton, near the intersection of Creighton and Babcock Roads, then move north.
May 27, 2021
- DME Electric has finished Phase 1 wiring. After the fiber optic cables have been buried, spliced, and tested, they will return later in the summer to begin Phase 2 installations to connect customers to the new fiber.
- Ripley’s is burying cable along Pedro Road, south of 213th Street, heading south.
- Additional crews are working ahead of the mainline crew to bring lines to customer premises and behind the mainline crew to bury fiber vaults.
May 21, 2021
- DME Electric has finished Phase 1 wiring. After the fiber optic cables have been buried, spliced, and tested, they will return later in the summer to begin Phase 2 installations to connect customers to the new fiber.
- Ripley’s is plowing cable south of the intersection between the intersection of Grindstone Road and 213th Street.
May 13, 2021
- DME Electric has been completing Phase 1 wiring installations. They expect to finish by the end of this week.
- Ripley has started construction on the Creighton FTTH project. They are currently working near the Dowling Church at the corner of 214th Street and 207th Avenue, heading west.

- DME Electric has been completing Phase 1 wiring installations. They will be working in the area until they have the prewiring done in all customer homes.
- Ripley’s will begin construction after completing the Milesville project. Residents should expect to see equipment in the area and utilities will be marked before construction begins.
