Students of Golden West customers can register for the
SDTA Memorial Scholarship, Deadline is May 31, 2013.
At Golden West we understand how important it is to invest in today's latest technology, but that it is even more important to invest in tomorrow's leaders.
It's that eye on the future of rural South Dakota that led to the Company's creation of the Golden West Scholarship Program, that has since helped local students pursue degrees at vocational schools, military academies, colleges and universities throughout the nation.
The Golden West Scholarship Program now awards $1,000 scholarships to 45 graduating seniors, recognizing that the graduating senior of today may be the CEO of tomorrow. One of the 45 – $1,000 awards is an at-large scholarship available to home-schooled students or those students from a Golden West service area not attending one of the high schools covered by the scholarship program.
