Swade Reis will receive a $1,000 Golden West Scholarship
A 2023 graduate of Chamberlain High School, Swade grew up on a ranch south of Reliance. He was involved in rodeo, football, wrestling, FFA, band, 4-H, and National Honors Society all while maintaining a 4.065 GPA. Swade also runs his own small business that revolves around his 250 chickens, selling eggs to local grocery stores in Chamberlain. This fall, he plans to pursue a degree in biochemistry at Black Hills State University.
