Our fiber network will be expanded throughout the Pine Ridge exchange including the Porcupine and Wounded Knee areas.
Project Updates
April 16, 2021
- Travis Electric is installing clamshells on homes and businesses in Porcupine and Manderson. They will move to the rural part of the exchange when they have completed work in town.
- North Central Service is working on Porcupine School Road and Pahin Sinte Street in Porcupine. See maps for Construction Areas 3 through 6.
April 8, 2021
- Travis Electric is installing clamshells on homes and businesses in Porcupine and Manderson. They will move to the rural part of the exchange when they have completed work in town.
- North Central Service started plowing mainline fiber on Porcupine School Rd. A crew will begin to bury lines, or drops, to customer premises in this area this week.
- The maps show areas where construction will begin, with duct (orange pipe) being placed first.

- North Central Service will begin construction next week. They plan to start in Porcupine.

- Travis Electric started hanging clamshells this week. They will begin in the towns and then move to rural areas.
- North Central Service will begin construction on April 5th.
