CBS programming changes
Golden West was recently made aware of changes in programming happening soon. Due to new programming agreements between broadcasting companies Nexstar and CBS, CBS programming currently on channel 6 will move to channel 11, effective Aug. 1, 2026.
- Content including CBS News, NFL games, college sports, entertainment, and more will no longer be available on channel 6.
- KELOLAND News will continue to air on channel 6 with The CW as its network affiliation.
- Golden West has no control over this change, as these decisions are determined by the above-mentioned companies which in turn affect channel locations on your cable service.
