Important Cable Update:
Minnesota Twins games
and Golden West cable TV

Golden West understands many cable subscribers are passionate Minnesota Twins fans. Unfortunately, Bally Sports, now known as FanDuel, does not have the rights to broadcast Twins Major League Baseball (MLB) games for the 2025 season.

Alternate viewing and listening options

While this is disappointing, the Twins are still available on other platforms! Several games will air on FOX, FS1, TBS, and ESPN/ABC, all of which are included in the Golden West Select cable TV package. This includes 10 regular season Twins games airing on Tuesday nights on South Dakota Fox affiliate stations

Golden West subscribers in the Eastern and Central regions can watch on KDLT (Fox) Channel 4. Those in the Western region can watch on KEVN (Fox) Channel 8. These specific games will air:

  • Tuesday, April 15 vs. New York Mets
  • Tuesday, April 22 vs. Chicago White Sox
  • Tuesday, May 6 vs. Baltimore Orioles
  • Tuesday, May 20 vs. Cleveland Guardians
  • Tuesday, June 24 vs. Seattle Mariners
  • Tuesday, July 8 vs. Chicago Cubs
  • Tuesday, July 29 vs. Boston Red Sox
  • Tuesday, August 12 at New York Yankees
  • Tuesday, August 19 vs. Athletics
  • Tuesday, September 2 vs. Chicago White Sox

Radio station WNAX 570 AM in Yankton will also broadcast the games, though they cannot share the games online due to blackout restrictions.

Additionally, you can subscribe to MLB.TV and live stream all MLB games, including every Twins game, with your internet connection.

MLB requirements were cost prohibitive

Golden West explored adding the MLB Network to its cable lineup to continue airing Twins games. However, MLB required that its station be included in our most popular channel package. Doing so would have increased monthly fees for all subscribers, even those who don't watch baseball. MLB charges less for their streaming service than they would have charged Golden West.
